I was waiting for something special, but in the end it's what it should be, Turkey meat, thinly sliced, very dry. It remembers me to grilled Turkey that is left on the table for a day and become dry.
I find the jerky treatment is still best suited for beef varieties. For poultry, it works, but I would just eat grilled or cooked chicken breasts, which are a better way to prepare this variety, if I want to eat high protein poultry meat.
If you are into carbon footprint, poultry supposed to have less impact compared to beef, and if you are tired of the beef jerky, this can give a bit of a variety.
Compared to chicken, I find the turkey variety is easier to chew and tastes better.
Otherwise, even the "original" variety is quite spicy. Well, it's not a natural seasoning, it's rather hot.
Worth in every flavor and handy to have after a fitness workout.!
